Brothers, on November 11, 2024 a check representing the proceeds of Mt. Vernon Lodge #263 F & AM's annual chicken barbeque was presented to the Java Village Cemetery Association's President, Mr. Kyle Dash.  The Java Village Cemetery Association greatly appreciates the generous contribution from Mt. Vernon Lodge #263, which will play a vital role in maintaining and improving the local cemetery. These funds will be used to address key upkeep needs, including the addition of fill dirt to level sunken areas, ensuring a safer and more visually appealing landscape. Additionally, crushed stone will be applied to the vehicle roads throughout the cemetery, improving accessibility and preventing erosion. These enhancements not only preserve the dignity and beauty of the cemetery but also provide a more comfortable and respectful environment for visitors. Your support helps honor the memory of those laid to rest and ensures the cemetery remains a cherished community space.
