Newfield Masons Euchre Tournament
You and your friends are invited to King Hiram’s euchre tournament on Saturday March 1st. It will be held at the Masonic Temple on Main Street in Newfield. We will start at 10:00am, stop for refreshments halfway through and finish up by 2 pm.
There is no entry fee, that’s right it’s FREE! Prizes will be handed out to the top 4 players. You do not have to be a Mason; you can come alone, with a friend or in groups. Partners will be chosen at the tournament and can change each game.
This is a friendly Tournament and everyone is welcome.
Please let us know how many will be coming so that we will have enough refreshments. Please make reservation by Feb 26th by calling me.

Rules; Players will draw to see where they will be seated to start play; there will be 4 players at each table. We will throw Jacks for partners. Then we will throw Jacks for the deal. All tables will start play at the same time, when a team gets to 10 points, play for that round is finished. Each player will have the player on his left log the number of points that their team has at that time, the maximum number of points is ten. The team that has the lowest number of points will move clockwise to the next table. Once there, they will throw Jacks for new partners and continue with the next round. The individuals with most points at the end will be declared the winners. All players getting euchred will be asked to make a 25 cents donation to the Brotherhood fund jug.
