Brother Wayne ceased Earthly labor on February 15, 2025. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Leslie Mae Smith; children Dale (Annie) and Dawn (Chris) of Canandaigua; granddaughter Amanda (John) of NY, Emilee DeRoo (Hunter) of N. Carolina; brothers Bruce (Marylou) and Allen (Beth) and great granddaughter Ryleigh.

Brother Wayne was Initiated on February 5, 1969; Passed on March 5, 1969 and Raised to the Sublime degree of Master Mason on April 2, 1969 in Rushville Lodge #377. He is a Past Worshipful Master of Rushville Lodge and a Past Assistant Grand Lecturer of the O-S-Y District. 

Brother Wayne was a very active member of his Lodge and the Order of Eastern Star. He will be sorely missed by his Brothers and Sisters.

Friends may call Saturday, March 15, from 10-11 AM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 320 S. Pearl St. Canandaigua. An 11 AM memorial service will follow at the church. The interment will be at the Nettle Valley Cemetery.

At this time, a Masonic Service has not been planned.
