It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Brother Ralph J. Schutz of John Hodge Lodge #815.
Brother Ralph was initiated on November 7, 2007; passed on November 19, 2007 and Raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason on January 21, 2008. Ralph was very engaged with his Lodge and Brothers. He was awarded the Dedicated Service Award on January 3, 2019. He will be sorely missed.

Ralph J Schutz, 88, of Naples passed away peacefully at his home on January 24, 2025. Born on September 15, 1936 in Prattsburgh, NY the son of the late Gordon and Alice (Cooper) Schutz.
Ralph worked numerous years for the PIke Company of Rochester, was a past member of the South Bristol Town Board, was a member of the John Hodge Lodge #815 and a member of the Maxfield Hose Company. He was an avid sportsman, woodworker, and loved to play cards with his many friends.
Ralph was predeceased by the love of his life, Martha; brothers Donald and Larry; and brother-in-law Russell Hawkins.
He is survived by his son Stephen and daughters Sharyl (Jeff) and Sherry; sister Dolores Hawkins; sisters-in law Caroline Schutz and Sherry Ashley; grandchildren Sarah (Dana), Kelly (Jeff), Kati (Josh), Zach (Amanda), Tyler (August), Krystal (Ronnie), Carl, Stephen, Gina (Pepsi), Cameo (Ed), Garry (Danielle), Damien (Arielle), Robert (Alyssa): great grandchildren Nicholas, Kaylen, Parker, Mila, Ralphie, Mason, Jace, James, Ken, Billie, TJ, Ethan, Jared, Angie, Tayleah, Navaeh, Breanna, Noah, Olivia, Elijah, Jason, Zaria, William, Hunter, Mia and Lukas. Ralph also had many cherished nieces and nephews as well as treasured friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Bristol Springs Free Church on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 2:00-4:00; burial will take place in Italy Naples Cemetery.
