William G. Locke of Pocasset, MA, a veteran who retired from legal publishing, died on July 6 at Royal Health Megansett Nursing & Retirement Home in North Falmouth. He was 95.
Born in Medford to William G. and Gladys (Reed) Locke, he graduated from Needham High School in 1947 and entered the US Navy. He later attended Northeastern University and earned a master’s in library science at SUNY Geneseo.
He worked and retired from Lawyers Cooperative Publishing Company in Rochester, New York. He was a Mason and a member of the Cawnacome Sunshine Lodge in Bourne. He was active in local civic affairs.
Mr. Locke leaves his wife, Ann (Swigart) Locke; his children, Kathy J. Aghaghiri, John and Debra Locke, and Karen Marshall; five grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
Burial at Massachusetts National Cemetery is private.
