Dear Sisters and Brothers of the Beautiful Bronx District and Order of the Eastern Star and Brethren All,

It is with heavy hearts that I share the passing of our dear Eastern Star Sister, Sonja Juers. Sister Sonja was a dedicated member of our Order whose unwavering spirit and steadfast commitment to our values made a lasting impact on all who had the privilege to know her.

Sonja had a unique blend of warmth and resilience. She wasn’t afraid to be tough when the situation called for it, but that strength was always guided by her deep care for others and her passion for service. Whether she was offering guidance, lending support, or ensuring that things were done right, Sonja’s presence was both grounding and inspiring.
