Ashlar #0584 14 days ago

On Monday, November 18, 2024, Ashlar Lodge 584 F.& A.M. hosted a memorable evening as 24 Brothers gathered to welcome District Deputy Grand Master Lance Wang for his annual visit. The night was highlighted by fellowship, inspiration, and a renewed sense of purpose for all in attendance.

Brother Wang, representing Most Worshipful Steven A. Rubin, Grand Master of Masons in the State of New York, delivered an engaging address that emphasized the transformative power of Freemasonry. Drawing from his own experiences as a veteran, he spoke about the principles of self-improvement, leadership, and community engagement that lie at the heart of the Masonic journey.

Key takeaways from his remarks included:

  • Enjoying Freemasonry: Encouraging Brothers to create a welcoming atmosphere and find joy in the Craft.
  • A Leadership Laboratory: Viewing Freemasonry as a unique opportunity to lead through mutual support and shared successes.
  • Promoting Masonry: Sharing the values and legacy of Freemasonry with the broader community.
  • Valuing Ritual: Recognizing ritual as the cornerstone of Masonry, reflecting dedication and discipline.

Brother Wang’s words resonated deeply with attendees, inspiring all to pursue their Masonic journey with renewed enthusiasm.
