Important Notes on Freemasonry

It is essential to understand that Freemasonry does not have a single worldwide governing body, and no one man speaks for the fraternity as a whole. We are united not by a central authority, but by our shared values and commitment to our principles.

Ritual is necessary, but it is merely a vehicle that conveys to the hearts and minds of men the greatest lessons of our fraternity. It is through ritual that we are taught to be better men and brothers.

There are many benefits to being a Freemason, but the most notable is the strong sense of community and brotherhood that we cultivate together. These bonds are what allow us to support one another in times of need and celebrate together in times of joy.

The Masonic Leadership Initiative (MLI)

The Masonic Leadership Initiative (MLI) is a new and exciting program designed for New York State Masons looking to enhance their leadership skills both inside and outside the Lodge. Through this initiative, Masons will have the opportunity to learn directly from the teachings of Dr. John C. Maxwell, a globally recognized leadership expert.

Learn & Lead Zoom Sessions
Each session is designed to fit into your busy schedule, providing high-impact teachings from the Maxwell Leadership Methodology. These sessions will help you refine your leadership abilities and develop essential skills for success.

Upcoming Dates:

  • November 19 (Tue) - Relationships Part II: The Building Blocks of Relationships
  • December 4 (Wed) - Equipping Part II: Equipping the Right People
  • December 10 (Tue) - Attitude Part II: The Formation of Attitude
  • December 16 (Mon) - Leadership Part II: The Traits of a Leader
