The ALR: Masonic Hall Monitors
Oct 29, 2024 - 7:00pm - 71 West 23rd Street, New York, NY 10010

The American Lodge of Research will meet Tuesday, October 29 for a Stated Communication themed "Masonic Hall Monitors." That’s 7 p.m. at Masonic Hall in Manhattan.

Keynote speaker, RW Ben Hoff, will present his new paper on the origins, evolution, and diversity of Masonic ritual ciphers, monitors, and exposures. Also, RW Samuel Lloyd Kinsey, Chairman of the Custodians of the Work, will visit to discuss the research that went into both Grand Lodge's latest ritual book and the upcoming monitor (the first since the 1980s). RW Michael LaRocco, Executive Director of the Chancellor Robert R. Livingston Masonic Library, will exhibit choice samples of such books--the antique, the rare, the odd. And the Worshipful Master will conclude the evening with an introduction to the new reprint of the famous Macoy Monitor of 1867.

Master Masons. Attire: suit & tie. No collation.
