Brethren and Officers of the Jefferson Lewis District:

Did you know that we have created a Scottish Rite Club in the Jefferson Lewis District!!! We are based out of the Valley of Syracuse but meet mostly within the Jefferson Lewis district usually twice a month on Wednesdays. There is also an opportunity for you to become a Scottish Rite Mason right here in our district or at your Lodge with the Rite on the Road program. The Club has been very successful thus far and full of interesting content for our members. We discuss programs, degrees, and have degree watch parties, along with fellowship and much, much more. The only thing we are missing is more active members!!  I would like to encourage all within our district to come and get involved!! its low impact, educational and a lot of fun, dress for our events is usually casual.

Currently we have III Terry A Byard 33 MSA, 1st Lt Commander, Vally of Syracuse, Bro Richard Fifield, Senior Warden, Chapter of the Rose Croix, R W Michael J Bova DDGM, Jefferson Lewis District, W Bro David Pritt, W Bro Ray Worchester, Bro Jeffery Cox and WM Alex Wiseman and others who have been active members.  We are looking to expand the Scottish Rite experience in our district.

We are planning a " No Obligation " open house to be held at Bethany Lodge #821 at 123 LeRay St. in Black River NY on the 15th if January, at 7pm. This will be open to ALL MASONS, at the open house we will present an overview of Scottish Rite, its programs and why it's called " The University of Free Masonry" as well as how the club works and what we do. We all hope you will consider coming out to this Open House event if only to share Fellowship and learn something new.
