Amicable Lodge’s charter was originally granted  April 7, 1792 at Old Fort Schuyler which is now Utica NY.  The number was 22. Around 1818 Amicable #22, later #11, met at the founder of  New Hartford NY, Jeddediah Sanger's residence at the corner of South Plank St. (Now Oxford Rd & Genesee St. or One Oxford Rd.) in the Village of New Hartford N.Y.

Amicable #22  suffered a fire in 1830 and later surrendered it’s charter in 1842, most likely due to the Morgan Affair.  The lodge went dark for 26 years and then voted to form the current Lodge which is #664 in January 1868.

Meetings were held at 3875 Oneida St. in Washington Mills until 1917 then at 64 Genesee St.  and in 1941 moved to a former Welsh Church at 39 Pearl St. which was donated to the Lodge.  Amicable Lodge #664 now meets in Utica N.Y. in the Historic Utica Masonic Hall at 251 Genesee Street, Utica, NY 13501
